Become a Member

For over 22 years HT-SACA has supported refugees as they arrive in Canada, learn to speak English, find a place to call home, settle their children into school, find gainful employment, and make meaningful connections in the community. Our vision is a future where refugees and the disadvantaged bridge their transition into the community.

Volunteer

There are many ways you can contribute and make a real difference in the lives of refugees. We can’t fulfill our mission without good people like you.

Partner

The HT-SACA leadership believes in the power of working together for a fair and equal future for all.

Partner with us financially or in-kind and play a part in addressing the plight of refugees and help them settle and live a dignified life.

How to Volunteer

HT-SACA runs several programs, activities and events throughout the year

Volunteers can participate in the following areas

Facilitate English language conversation circles
Coordinate children activities
Provide settlement information
Youth mentorship
Children homework club
Airport pick-up
Culture and heritage coaching

Our common zeal is to protect the innocent, empower the weak and value the inherent worth of each and every person we serve regardless of faith, culture, sexual orientation or socio-economic status.

How to Partner with Us

Join several other organizations and individuals to partner with us in delivering support programs to the vulnerable population in Canada.

You can partner with us in one or more of the following areas:

As a funder providing cash or in-kind support
As a partner organization to leverage human and capital resources
As an individual to influence others to support our programs
Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) - We are open to partner with Governments to deliver specialised support services or implement initiatives aimed at supporting refugees.
Knowledge Sharing - partner with us to mutually benefit our organization in learned experience and knowledge exchange
